OpenRoads British Car Show at Tahoe to Be Held in June 2006
SUNNYVALE CA (February 28 2005) -- OpenRoads 2006 Weekend at Tahoe, hosted by
the Golden Gate Austin Healey Club and open to owners and enthusiasts of
British cars of all makes, will be held Friday June 9 to Sunday June 11, 2006
at the Horizon Casino and Resort at Stateline NV on the south shore of Lake
Tahoe.
The multi-marque OpenRoads 2006 will start Friday June 9, 2006 with
an opening reception in the evening. Plans now call for a day of tours or
rallyes on Saturday, a Saturday autocross and Awards Banquet, and a Sunday car
show. Departure will be early Sunday afternoon, June 11. A registration fee
of $45 will cover one car and two adults. Additional adults are $20 each;
additional cars $20. There is no charge for children under 15.
Double rooms will be available at the Horizon at a special rate of
$95 per night (single or double); $105 (triple occupancy) and $115 (four).
Taxes are not included. Registrants must have a registration number issued by
the Golden Gate Austin Healey Club to obtain this special rate.
Registrations for OpenRoads 2006 will open in the fall of 2005.
