I would imagine it was the stuff that Moss & Victoria British sell.  It has a 
foil lined backing similar to jute but not as durable.  Having said that I 
have used a combination of Dynamat and this material quite successfully.  I 
wasn't however worried about maintaining minimum thickness.  Just inside 
temperature.
