Offended by So called "Friday Funnies"

I've been reading and enjoying this list for many years and until the so called
'Friday Funnies' started the postings were nearly all Healey related and didn't 
seem to offend anyone.  If you want to post jokes,  why not post them to a joke 
site- if you want to read jokes,  go to a joke site or subscribe to a joke 
list. It's all 
out there for you.  Why is it necessary to bloat(at best) or screw up(at worst) 
the Healey list?
