Richard, et al.,

Although you might not care, they also differ in their quality and ease of
fit. This varies from manufacturer to manufacturer as well. You might want
to call a couple of the shops who do the installation regularly and see what
they use. Opinion varies on this (imagine that) but putting one of these in
was easily the biggest pain in the butt for my restoration, second only to
making the boot lid correct or the door gaps perfect. I'd rather pull the
engine twice than do this even once again. You haven't lived until you've
clipped the damn thing to the back hoop three times trying to get it to be
straight and the right length up front which you won't know until the job is
half done. Personally this is one task I'll leave to the professionals next
time.

As to keeping the rain out of the car, I can see you have not yet developed
the correct attitude towards precipitation in the Healey. Think of it as
evaporative cooling fluid because your concours goals kept you from insulating
the cockpit.

Bill Moyer, BJ7, zippered window, concours incorrect, wet anyway. I saved the
snaps and brace, tho, just in case someone ever wanted to rip out the zipper
and put them in.
