I have a similar rack on my car. However, it is attached to slightly modified
boot lid hinges which are drilled through to hold it.
The legs actually rest on the bumper mounts and not the bumper itself. This
is for added support that will not damage the bumper from any weight applied.
The lower boot mounted supports are screwed into the boot lid. However, the
supports could be removed and the screw holes will not be visible, as they are
on the inner edge of the boot.
The rack came from Moss.
