Jim--

I'm certainly no expert but it does sound like an ignition problem--very
likely one of them thar rotors that have been in the news lately. For those
poor unfortunates such as yourself whose cars are still equipped with original
ignitions a good trouble-shooting guide can be found at:
_http://www.ntahc.org/techtips/IgnitionTest01.htm_
(http://www.ntahc.org/techtips/IgnitionTest01.htm) on the North Texas AHC
website and also in the AH maintenance manual.

Best--Michael Oritt

Would an expert on the list be willing to give me a bit of tutoring on
solving this problem?
