I found that some of the stronger paint removers also softened the bondo on 
my aluminum shrouds.  Just let it soak for a long time and gently scrape it 
off.  The other method I used was to apply gentle heat from a hot air gun. 
You don't want to heat the aluminum too much but the heat gun did soften the 
bondo so it could be scraped off.
