Hope your shaft is to spec Dave.
Even the factory didnt go there..
When I was a poor student, 30 odd years ago, I just turned the shaft upside
down. Regrind oil holes as required. The wear is always at the bottom of
the shaft.
Or just get a number, without measuring yours, and ream to that number
On an old shaft.
