You guys are all too funny. Smiths made products to suit markets all over
the globe. Some temp. gauges were in Fahrenheit and speedos in miles, such
as all North America and many other countries, while some temp. gauges were
in Celcius (or Centigrade as it was commonly known), with speedos in
Kilometres.

O.K. So If the Smiths number is so close to a 100/4, and an MG, why is your
guage in Celcius?
In 1954 who used Celcius? Rather than farenheight?
So it has to be for a French car????? Or????
