If you have a press to remove and reinstall the pulley they are easy to =
rebuild. The impeller will break if you try to pull or press on it. The =
impeller is brittle because it is made from unobtainium. I can=E2=80=99t =
recall if Mike includes the instructions to make a do-it-yourself press =
but it is simple. You need a flat steel plate about slightly larger than =
the pulley, drill four oversize holes to match the ones in the pulley. =
Get a space, such as a socket that is slightly smaller than the end of =
the water pump shaft. Put it over the end of the shaft and bolt the =
plate over it onto the pulley. Tighten the bolts in an alternating =
sequence to press the pulley shaft free from the pulley. When you press =
the pulley back on don=E2=80=99t press on the impeller, only press on =
the shaft and pulley. Make a note of the clearance from the impeller to =
the pump body and the depth of the shaft into the pulley so you can =
obtain the proper clearances when fitting it all back together.

Look very carefully Keith and you will probably find that the leakage is =
from the hole in the casting just forward of the gasket.=20
That hole is there to allow any coolant that comes past the seal to leak =
out before it can get into the bearings.
Those pumps are pretty easy to rebuild. The instructions are in the =
Workshop Manual and I have a kit for them.
