I've had a ton of mail inquiring of this topic so let me tell you all at once

First let me say that I would never concider this project on a B in good
condition. The car be converted was a half step away from partsville. The
things needed to do this are:

Modification to front fenders to accomodate indicator housing. In my case
fenders are so far gone I'm just installing new early chrome fenders.

Cutting back rubber bumper support brackets and welding in chrome bumper
brackets.

Additional metal protrusion below tail light lens. I'm cutting them off a
chrome donor car

Suspension lowering, which I'm going to wait and see what it looks like
before I do it. I'm thinking I may prefer additional ground clearance over
the look. Any way to accomplish this you would need shorter springs in front,
I know of one person who cut one coil off existing a replaced it and a one
inch aluminum block to place between the rear axle housing and the leaf
springs ( possibly longer U-bolts) .

I'm going Black everything with this car, Leather interior, mohair cancas
top, stock rebuilt on engine and adding overdrive. I'll change steering
column to earlier just so that I don't have that stupid horn on end of
directional switch baloney. I also prefer light switch on dash and the over
drive switch on the wiper switch not gear shift knob.

So, when finished, it will have early chrome fenders, late rubber dash and
late chrome/ early rubber steering column. I was going to order vanity plates
that said "MUTT" but a good friend suggested "HYBRID"

Anyway thats, that and if you would like to see it I'll have it at "THE
BRITISH ARE COMING " June 1st and 2nd at Catheral Pines Park, Yaphank. L.I.
N.Y.

Please respond to DRDED@ix.netcom.com I'm faising out aol Safety Fast, David
