I mounted my stereo in the glove box.  Speakers are in the door, thought
that's stock for a 75 B. I rather like the classy little blanking plate that
goes where the stereo should, the glove box provides somewhat better
security, and it's an easier mounting job, too.

Truthfully, I'm not certain that 66B's even had glove boxes, so this may not
work for you.
