A list of addresses and phone numbers of people on or near your route who may
be willing and able to help if you have problems. I am sure the MGOC or MG
Enthusiast used to publish such a list but I'm blowed if I can find that
either (see Diesel BGT).

Apart from that, having read on more than one occasion of people loading down
the car with spares then something breaks they don't have, I took about the
same as you suggest on a 2346 miles in five days round Britain this June. No
problems.
