My TINTIN is still on a generator. The last one (rebuilt) just gave up
the ghost after twelve years. I had it rebuilt again for about $85 by
a local shop. Perhaps the original electrical system would not be up
to the demands of adding wattage to the lighting, or having a monster
stereo, but it has always held up well for me. I certainly would NOT mess
around with the original design, Lucas or no. You could be getting
yourself in deep, and setting yourself up to be a DPO.
