had to return two pairs of rebuilt shocks in as many months, I'm inclined to
agree, new shocks are probably a small price to pay to avoid the agrevation
of dealing with rebuilts. So far my third pair of rebuilt front shocks seem
to be holding up OK after 5000 miles of hard driving, so I'm currently
 knocking on wood.

I just rebuilt the front end on my 64 B. I installed rebuilt HD shocks from
Apple along with new coils, 3/4" anti-sway bar and the SS bushings, Wow!..is
that front end stiff!

However, once again ,all this talk about rebuilt failures has me thinking.
...Anybody used the HD rebuilt shocks and what experiences have they had with
those?
