Barry,
        Where's your creativity?  so, the parents are springing for safety 
items?  Let's see, you should be able to get new shiny bumpers, some 
new headrests, a new collapsible steering column, or at least the 
cover, new brake rotors and calipers, a fire extinguisher, etc.
        Of course I'm being facetious, your parents are being very 
responsible and understanding that a 16-year old immortal such as 
yourself probably wouldn't put seatbelts high enough on your list of 
priorities.  I know I wouldn't, and I'm 27.  I drive an LBC every day 
and fly jets for the Navy, and still KNOW I'm going to live 
forever!!
