Mike,

>From a performance stand point it would be a total waste of time. Much better
to go the tuned length header route with a well made (and thought out) stainless
steel exhaust system using perfomance muffler/s. Would suggest that any
performance biased exhaust shop would be able to do this quickly and
surprisingly cheaply. Well at least out here in Oz they can.

As for gee wiz factors without wanting to put you down INHO the thought of
an MGB with twin pipes to me is quite laughable. For sure on a large V8
muscle car they would look great, but on a car like an MG a large bore
single system exiting from the stock position with a nice note and perhaps a
chrome or black chrome finishing tip would (to my mind) give you far more
street cred. I've done this with my factory BGT-V8. It has tuned length
headers, a 3" stainless steel system with sports mufflers, and a black
chrome finishing tip (it is a rubber bumber V8). Looks great and sounds
brilliant.

My 2c worth anyway........
