Another point that I think many are missing.  In the 60's and 70's, our
LBC's were considered much the same way that Miatas are thought of today.
That didn't stop them from becoming classics.  Wait around 10 years, and I
think you'll be amazed at how many companies are catering to the Miata
restoration business.  And think about it - the "average" buyer of a B or
Midget is very much the same demographic group that's buying the Miata
today.  How many times do we hear of someones decision to buy and restore a
LBC due to "my first car after college" stories?  Same thing will happen
10-20 years from now with the Miata, regardless of how much our little group
LBC'ers looks down our noses at them.
