Agreed!  But also for those not in the snowbelt - they have no
experience driving in it, and nearly kill themselves the one day a year
they get thier annual 2" of snow.

You can say that again!  In the mid-80's, I paid $9000 for a Blazer.  A
Blazer today is three times that much (and, sadly, not as durable)!  I
don't think inflation went up that high since then.....
