I too am in the Yarra Valley and have a Vineyard here. Of course,
Victorian wine is Australia's best and some of the best in the world.
MIHO, as a whole, the range of price/style in Victoria is better than
Californian wine. Of course there are some superb Californian wines
as well as superb Victorian and Australian wine. I will happily admit
that one's palate is trained in context though.
