I've been a lurker for quite a while, thought I would reach out and touch
someone. I'm currently restoring a 1600 MK2 MGA and need the following
parts.
Front and rear bumpers
Front valance - fiberglass or steel
Front grille, MK2 type
Outer sills, left and right
Chrome vent grille and emblems
Rear stop tail lamp assembly (MK2)
Front park turn lamp assembly
I'm not going for concours, just want something like a 10 footer (looks
great from 10 feet away). I'm planning on driving from Knoxville, TN to
Meridian, MS over the holiday, also to the Atlanta area. Any takers in
the area, or anywhere else for that matter.
Also, I would like to join NAMGAR. You know Christmas present to
me-self. Anyone got the address handy.
Last question is does anyone keep records on MGA's beside BMIHT. I have
only a body number for my car, the DPO removed the chassis id plate. The
car is registered as a '58 but is obviously a 1600 MK2. Just trying to
trace the chassis number by using the body number. BMIHT says they
didn't record body numbers on MGA's, so I'm stuck. TIA
