Today, whilst channel surfing, I came across an episode of "CHiPs" w/Erik
Estrada. The bad guys were robbing a bank (in the drive-thru) and made
their getaway in a RB Midget. Ponch & the other guy chase them for a while,
but they get-away. Then they pull into a garage & pull the flame decals
off, put down the top & slap some rallye numbers on. They then slip into
the middle of a big rallye going on. Turns out they were robbing the bank
to pay back their rallye club's treasury that they had embezzled from. I
didn't see the end, but I'm sure Ponch et al got their men!

In the movie "Six Days, Sven Nights" (don't waste your time) there is a
scene in which the female lead is looking for a pilot to fly her to Tahiti.
At one point she approaches a man working on an MGB (the bonnet is up) and
asks him if he knows where the pilot is.

I wonder if the color of the car was a coincidence.

I was watching "Goldfinger" (James Bond) the other night and Mr. Bond was
picked up in a nice 72 or 73 B by Ms. Money Penny...or was it Pussy Galore?
Ahh...all those "birds" are pretty nice to look at, but the car was cool
too. Also, if you want to see what the famous Gold Vault that is about a
mile from my house (quarters) looks like - it's in that movie too! Classic
"Bond" always has a nice LBC or two, and some cool BBC Aston-Martins and
such.
