Hi all,

If you're looking for any old thing to put under the hood temporarily, look in
an auto upholstery supply store.  They have bulk headliner (very thin),
carpeting (maybe a little heavy), carpet padding (not finished), and various
foams and thick vinyls.  You may find something suitable for cheap in the
remnant bin.  If not, you'll surely find something else you need.  I always do.
