Went to look at two wrecked B's yesterday, the fewlly said he had an 80 and
a 75. One of them rolled and the other which had been kissed by a large
tree. I went thinking that the 80 was an LE but it turned out to be a 78
with a carb setup I had never seen before. This car had a single SU where
there was supposed to be a Stromberg. I was not able to delve too deeply
into the thing as it was starting to get dark. Have I missed something?
This has sparked my interest, Have any of you done or seen this done? I have
only heard people say they wish that MG had done this instead of using a
Z-S. I don't know if this was an HS or HIF. If anyone is interested I can
find out more about it. By the way, I hate SU fuel pumps. Don Walton
