I can tell you why it hasn't attracted the chicks you thought it would, as
you say right on your website, your MGB has had a massive squeal for the
majority of the time you've owned it (website doesn't mention if it has been
fixed). The best game to play in an LBC with girls is "How many girls can I
cram into this car and still be able to drive?" (I hear Father's
encouraging their sons, and warning their daughters).

Girls can be a real life saver also. When I crashed Bruno the TR6 in June,
a girl that knew the car from school was nice enough to give me a lift home.
Then about 2 weeks later I ran out of gas 500ft from the accident site... no
girls around to offer me a ride. There weren't any girls around when I
snapped all the axle mating bolts pulling out of the pumps at the local
Mobil.

However, Bruno has NEVER let me down on a date. And my dates have endured a
lot. Including being drenched (oh the sky is just gray, it isn't going to
rain!), being called my sister at the Mobil station by curious attendent...
fortunately Janine is a good sport and the only reason we got soaked in the
rain was because it was her suggestion to keep the top down. No girls
around either when Bruno decided he could only drive 25ft before needing a
break, shut off, drive 25ft, shutoff, on and on... I did make it home then.

Bruno is a good boy, so he gets his gifts. Just bought another engine, he
will soon be adorned with a set of NOS Lucas Square 8 fog lamps that I have
in my closet, and while I'm here at college a friend is doing some
suspension and regular maintenance work.

Can't wait until spring semister!
