I would also replace the bush on the clutch release arm and the flywheel
bolt locking tab , P/N 11G3195 and 12H1303, respectively, in the Proper MG
catalog - I don't have a copy of Moss handy right now.  How's the oil
pressure relief valve?  (It is always easier to do it if the engine is out).
When the flywheel goes back on, put it 180 degrees from its original
location on the crank.  This will give the starter a new place to start
chewing on the ring gear since the engine usually stops at the same point
each time.
