hi charles, thanks for the reply

The engine was tuned about 2 1/2 months ago. I first noticed the noise when
driving. it is still there if i depress the clutch.

Why do you ask?

My only worry is if this could be symptomatic of oil running low in the
gearbox.

any further ideas?
