The instructions I have call for only removing the left half shaft. This is
an old article from John Twist. Diane if you would like a copy let me know.

hello.

I think it's slightly overdue that I replace those rear end shims ? spacers
? in my 77 mgb's diff.

this requires jacking up the rear, taking the back cover off, taking the
rear axles out, (and getting new axel end seals), and sort of replacing the
shims right ?

the moss person wanted to know what size shims I needed, in retrospect they
are pretty cheap I think, I can order all of them. I believe I need to
measure the exact size required before I pull the axels out, is this correct
?

someone told me that there were some superior copper ? shims out there
somewhere, if this is so, can anyone tell me where ?

thanks, bunches, Diane
