Dan;
Rather than going outside for added foam just replace the standard foam along 
with new bottom diaphrams.  Probably cost less and the origional seat is 
quite comfortable.  This is an easy DIY project. The foam does deteriorate 
just as discussed in an earlier thread about foam weatherstrip.
