MG Numbers

I finally got around to scratching down all the various numbers off of my
car and it has become apparent that it's had a transplant.

VIN: GHN5UA197659G      (1970)
ENGINE:  18GBUH53541    (196?)
BODY: MGBU026175        (????)

The body number makes NO sense to me (at least going by the Moss catalog).

What are the differences between the engine I have and the one that should
be in there, if any?
