Chris, don't have my copy of Original MGB handy but believe the
differences are mostly in the extent of emmissions equipment.... GB is the
first 5-main bearing engine series, fitting starting in October of 1964...
Believe it basically had no emissions equipment other than crankcase
ventilation....
