All,
OK, Mark J. came over tonight and we solved the fan problem. It was a bad
ground and a horn pushed back in line with the passenger side fan. However, we
descovered there is still a problem with the lights and a ground or power
source coming in, that shouldn't. I'm going to leave this one up to the auto
electrician. I'm pooped!!
Tomorrow I pick up the bracket that will fit behind the bumper. This bracket
will accept a Reese Tow bar I purchased at Walm... for 99.00. I also
purchased lights with magnets that have been attached to the luggage rack with
some rope to keep them from flying off.. I just have to figure out how to run
the wiring from the lights over or
under the car to the truck harness. Any suggestions from previous experience.
Obviously I'm trying to presurve the paint. Also, I'm planning to detach the
drive shaft for the 1200 mile trip to St. Paul, MN, question is, Do you think
going 15 miles is OK with it attached, so I can drop it off at the Auto
Electricians?
The new?used harness is now in with the help of Ray B, Larry M., and Mark J.
Thanks so much for your help guys. I never would have gotten this far without
your help.
