Thanks to all who responded to my dilemma re NAPA's discontinuance of the 6v
that fit the MGB battery bins.
I decided to convert to single battery and try the Group 26 12V available
through Walmart. It has no tabs on the bottom which might interfere with its
fitting. I'll let you know the results.
NAPA refunded $140+ on the two returned 6Vs that didnt fit, which had
originally been given to replace two prior 6Vs (that did fit) under full
warranty. The Walmart 12V with replacement cables came to $34. I think I've
funded the trip to the NEMGCC Lobster Bake!
