that was the technical anwer. Here is the anecdotal one. . .
No! don't do it! it is not worth the time money effort.
the '73 M.G. roadster that I had with and without a rear sway bar had no
v-link but it did have
3/4" sway bar in the front,
tube shocks all around,
new kingpins,
hard plastic(delrin? nylotril?) lower control arms bushings,
this same stuff in the anti-sway bar bushings and links,
freshly rubber leaf spring bushing.
a 5/8" rear anti-sway bar i drive with for some time
The car did corner a lot flatter with both bars. i put both bars on at
the same time. but some months later i removed the rear bar for some
other reason and was in a hurry to drive so didn't bother to
re-install it.
I never did. my most vivid memory is accelerating up one of those
360 degree cork-screw shaped exit ramps and feeling like i had just
gained 50% more traction.
