Just as another point of reference, I had my '66 Mustang
painted at Paintmaster. Started out powder blue, ended up
Dodge Viper blue with white LeMans stripes. While stripping
the paint they found many pounds of Bondo and evidence of
a rather nasty accident somewhere in the past. We replaced
both rear quarters from the door to the end-caps and from
the roof pillar down. The hood was repaired as was the
lower driver's door, inside and out. The rear tail light panel
was straightened and the deck lid was realigned.
Both door jams were painted as were the hood and
trunk openings as well as the under sides of the hood and
trunk.
I removed all trim and disassembled/reassembled the front
and rear clips.
The job took 7 weeks (estimated at 3 weeks) and cost
$2800 -- and also was well worth it in my opinion.

Thanks for posting your opinions and the cost of the job
Wesley. I find these points of reference very useful in trying
to decide which projects I can afford to undertake and which
ones I cannot. Of course, I want to save them all but that isn't
possible. Check out my 'basket case' project at the bottom
of this link: http://www.aubard.com .
