I made a Christmas tree stand from one and a (concrete-filled) grinder motor
base of another.

I've also seen groups of three welded into mailbox supports. Mounted on a
section of steel pipe, they make dandy rolling support wheels for wide
cattle gates. One could make a good pivot for a horse or ox-drawn sorghum
mill, but, admittedly, not too many listers would have this need.
