Lowered springs would not fall into this category even if the OE type did.
There have been many examples of UK prices being so much less then North
American which is why some people choose to import stuff from here and still
save money after the shipping costs (to say nothing of quality). A good
example is V8 hydraulic tappets - available here for about a fiver each. My
(UK) supplier ships them to the USA where they are significantly cheaper
than the local supply, even though they are made in the USA in the first
place!
