Well, I guess I'm insane as well. Buying a real chrome B would be the way to
go, but then again I *know* what the condition of the one I own is. No
having to fix DPO bodges. I'm almost finished with my chrome conversion. I
can't speak to your ride height as I lowered mine a couple years ago. As to
the front bumper it is designed/predrilled to mount the front license plate
holder centered on the bumper top to bottom. The actual license plate mounts
to the holder. I used the holder from the rubber bumper although they are
available from any auto parts store. Front plate is required here in CT too.
Presently the front is apart again as I'm adding a ST airdam today.
