I am interested in obtaining information on converting by rubber bumper car
back to a crome bumper car. I saw an article in Moss Motors about a complete
kit that they sell to complete the conversion. Has anyone attempted the
conversion using their kit. I recognize that it might not be worth the time to
complete such a conversion, but am interested to see who has done the
conversion and
what the results turned out like. How difficult is the process. Can a two
thumbs back year mechanic do the conversion with respectable results. What are
the
short comings and stumbling blocks? Is it then important to drop the
suspension and if so how much work does that entail.?
