This current-day way of 'automotive engineering' is getting me down. It
has taken three days to determine if the Edelbrock intake manifold 2198 has
a port for an on-off switch for my electric fan. Such information was NOT
Edelbrock's web page but I did eventually surmise that it was 1/2 inch NPT
only because that is the size of the unit THEY sell. (Some of the Ed
maniflds have two ports - different sizs!). So at last I know that the
hole is 1/2" NPT. The Edelborck switch is Cdn$95 !!! WOW and I see
Chevy/Ford units for US$7 BUT.......none of the web pages say what size the
damn thread is !!!!!

Can anyone point me towards a screw-in switch with 1/2" NPT thread? I do
not need any wire/connectors etc. It seems impossible to believe that no
one has ever stuck a generic (reasonably priced) switch into an Edelbrock
intake manifold !!!!! I have doen Google, Copernic, and all ponts NESW
with no POSITIVE success

Regards
Barrie
