  Check out this website for engine information.  They have some good 
dimensioned drawings of the engine as well as HP and Torque curves.

  As for tubing, we have used 1.25"*.065" A36 steel.  This tubing far exceeded 
the minimum set it the rules.  There are other tubing dimensions as well, for 
example, we have used 1.25"x.049.  I would not recommend this tubing because it 
barely met the equivalence.  It was strong enough, but it tended to dent 
locally far too easily.  I would recommend that you work the equivalency 
calculations your self, you will sleep better at night.
