"Tattered" Morgans are kinda hard to come by.  Your best bet would
be if you could find one under restoratoin who's owner lost steam.
I knew of one I offered $2,000 for that ended up being given away.

Starting prices for a 60s vintage +4 or 4/4 (older restoration) is
in the neighbor hood of $9,000 to $15,000.  A restored one is about
$25,000.  +8s start at $20,000

Operating cost for a Morgan are about the same as any other car.
The only unusual part is the front suspension.  Then king pins and
pushings.  You can rebush the front end several time before have
to replace the king pins.  Average is about 50,000 miles to a front
end rebuild.  I've heard some people clame to get up to 90,000 mi.

Pretty much the same for a +4 with the SUs.  A 4/4 with the
1 barrel no maint.  I usually check my xmission and rear end fluids
about every 3 mo. unless I notice an excessive spot on the garage
floor.
