I would stay away from RR timbers cause they are dipped in creosote and
they smell and ooze oil when the weather gets hot,You can try finding 1/4
inch metal sheets, that provides a stable surface, my carport has got
very rough asphalt,I used huge sheets of cardboard,its a smooth surface
and absorbs oil and grease to a certain extent and its easy to maneuver
around best of all its free any appliance store usually has several
refrigerator boxes laying around
