I'll bet you have the version from about a year ago or so. They made a
big-big change in the fence early last year. For a while they were selling
both version (different prices). The new fence is quite nice. It appears to
be a standard Biesmaker (sp?) clone.

I also have the Grizzly...good deal
Only complaint is the locking mech on the fence...fairly primitive, but I
reworked it a bit so that it stayed in adjustment. I did buy the 50inch
fence extensions to allow cutting 4x8 sheets easily.
i trued up the table extensions with small shims on initial ass'y...flat
ever since (about 3 years). i do more car than woodworking lately, but the
saw has worked well for construction rojects, tables/ counters, etc.
haven't made any fancy furniture with it yet. i do agree that it's the best
deal for the $ that I could find a few years ago.

Inch asked:
"Any ideas on the following?

1-What table saw should I get? (<$1000)

#1 is easy. The only great saw under $1000 is the Grizzly G1023S cabinet
saw. Current selling price is $795 + $68 shipping to your door. See more at:

023S

Every review has raved about this saw. I was at their showroom in MO and it
sure looks like a great value.
