Another region heard from,
In my part of the country, houses without basements usually have the air
supply ducts in the crawl space under the floor. The return ducts can be
on the ceiling in the attic area. The only time that the supply
outlets are in the ceiling is when the contractor is trying to cut corners.
It's interesting to see the regional differences in design philosophy.
