Scott,

I had a car that a smoker owned before me and they put in some kind of 
smoke masking thing that was almost as disagreeable as the smoke.

Have you tried asking the dealer what they used? They might tell you, 
and if they don't know what was used, take the car back and let their 
detail person smell it.
