  NO, DOT5 and DOT3/4 don't mix.  You have to flush your entire
  system first and make sure there are no trace of the old stuff
  before changing over to DOT5.  Someone (awhile ago) flushed their
  lines with rubbing alcohol before putting in DOT5.
