'trunnions' were replaced by lower ball joints which i believe to give
more flexability in design.  i also thought that the 'kingpin' is also
referred to as a 'knuckle' here in the states.  basically, it's what
all your suspension and bearing pieces are connected to.

at least that's how i see it...
