acids are not as caustic to some surfaces as others.
I have used streaght muratic on the deck of my pool barefoot. Eats the hell
out of the concrete but doesn't bother my feet.
I would not use full mol sulfuric for the same purpose much less put my feet
in it.
Take battery acid, won't hurt your hands that much but will eat the hell out
of the paint on the car and your brand new blue jeans.

Straight Muriatic acid is very strong.  Don't use it straight if you must
use it at all.  The rad shops bottle must have been diluted.  I used this
stuff to etch my concrete garage floor before I painted it.  Its nasty
stuff!  Just use off the shelf rad flush.
