The road test I read said the the Honda drove like a normal 2 liter motor
till you got over 6000 rpm, then all hell broke loose ! One reviewer was
able to go 0-60 mph under 5.5 seconds using methods guaranteed to make sure
you knew the Honda dealer parts man on a first name basis.

Now, I'm staying with the original 1.3 liter motor, (just spent a whole lot
of money on it), but if and when it breaks, there should be a few of those
Hondas in the boneyard. It's a rear wheel drive setup, so possibly it could
be modified to fit, (Barry, are you around ?).

The other aspect, competition. Two seater roadsters are making a comeback,
Honda just raised the bar. Porsche is going to put a larger motor in the
Boxter, BMW is going to put a V8 in the Z3. There are going to be lots of
high hp choices for swaps into the Spit, hopefully some of them will also be
affordable !
